Nanako Uchi, born in Yokohama, Japan in 1989,

began playing the piano at the age of 5.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in 2012 from

the Conservatoire of Showa Academia Musica with

Naoki Mori and Kaoru Moto.

 

When she was 20 years of age, she performed

in a Master class with the famous soloist Luige Tanganelli and chamber music pianist Francesco Buccarella in Italy. After graduating from the Bachelor program of

the Conservatoire of Showa Academia Musica,

Nanako performed a solo recital in the concert hall of

the Showa Academia Musica. The Yomiuri news paper

also invited her to play in the Ueno auditorium. 

 

Since September 2013, Nanako has moved to Netherlands, and in February 2013, she was selected to perform in

the famous Concertgebouw Amsterdam for a lunch concert with French flutist, Josephine Poncelin. Nanako participated in Rudolf Jansen’s Master class in Schumann Festival.

In 2014 Nanako gave a piano recital in Spanish Embassy

in Tokyo and several cities in Spain under the project, anniversary 400 years between Japan and Spain with Spanish pianist, Mario Molina. She performed in Hong Kong in August 2014. In October 2014, she performed as a member of World Parade for Queen, Maxima in Rotterdam.

 

In November 2014, Nanako Uchi received her Master’s degree from the Conservatorium of Rotterdam, Netherlands with Mr. Bart van de Roer.
